A season of gratitude in a year of growth and progress for the Appleseed Network

From all of us here at Appleseed, THANK YOU for all the time, talent, and treasure you gave this year to help build a better world. Because of people like you, families across the United States and Mexico today are more secure, our communities are more inclusive, and our democracy is stronger.

This has been a big year for Appleseed and the families we serve, and we owe it to partners like you.  The 18 justice centers in the Appleseed Network continue to be beacons of hope and engines of change in our communities.  Throughout the pandemic, Appleseed centers have worked hard to win more than forty impact litigation cases, help pass dozens of new reform laws, and mobilize thousands of grassroots volunteers. 

The Appleseed Network also grew this year with the launch of our newest center, Oklahoma Appleseed.  This new center is expanding the Appleseed Network’s reach to support families in a state with some of the highest poverty rates, lowest voter turnout, and highest incarceration rates in the country. 

We know our work is far from done.  Far too many families are struggling in poverty, racial injustice continues to run far too deep, and our democracy faces far too many dangers.  But we remain determined in our vision of a better world built through collaboration and advocacy.  And we are deeply grateful to have partners like you as we see this work through – until every person can thrive and justice is abundant.
