As an advocate for financial literacy and consumer rights, Appleseed has issued comments on various federal financial regulatory measures. Over the past year, the Federal Reserve has begun to implement several important rules to protect credit card and debit card consumers from, among other things, excessive fees and charges and unexpected interest rate hikes.
