Maggie Bertke Executive Assistant & Volunteer Coordinator Maggie has been with Appleseed since April 2008. Prior to joining Appleseed she interned in the major giving department of local PBS affiliate WETA (Washington Educational Television Association) and received her Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Women’s Studies from the University of Cincinnati. While at UC she volunteered as a community organizer with the Contact Center, helped form the student group Students United for Peace, and was a member of RAPP (Racial Awareness Pilot Program).
