Appleseed Offering Immigration Seminar

A seminar in Lincoln next month will show bankers and other people who provide services to immigrants how to cater to their clientele, and how to let immigrants know of their rights.
The event being put on by the Nebraska Appleseed Center is split into two parts. The first will talk about the rights immigrants have if their immigration status is questioned. The second will talk about what services financial institutions can offer immigrants and how to reach out to them.
The talks will draw on examples of what other institutions are doing around the country in trying to integrate immigrants into society.
The event will be held December 4th at Appleseed's Lancaster County Extension Office.
